- Daniel Ogus, Vice President of Operations & Executive Director of Regents Point
A native of New York, Dan has served as an executive in senior housing since 1995. He has a Bachelor’s of Science in hotel management from the University of Houston, a Master’s of Business Administration from the University of Dallas and a Master’s of Arts in gerontology from the University of Southern California. He and his wife, Sarah, have one child. - Melinda Forney, Administrator
Melinda brings more than 15 years of experience in long-term care administration to Regents Point, where she oversees health services for all three levels of care. She has a Master’s of Arts from the University of California-Los Angeles and a Master’s of Business Administration from the University of La Verne. She also carries both a skilled nursing license and Residential Care for the Elderly (RCFE) certification. She has been at Regents Point since 1996. - Ruby Salvio, Director of Residential Health Services
A part of the Regents Point family since 1995, Ruby is committed to excellent care and service for all of the community’s residents, who absolutely adore her. She graduated from the nursing program at Pacific Coast College in 1992 after earning her Bachelor’s of Psychology from the University of the Philippines. In 1997, she completed the U.S. Navy Advanced Medical Proficiency Program.
- Grace Henson, RN, BSN, Director of Nursing
Grace brings a nationally recognized commitment to nursing excellence to Regents Point’s Windcrest skilled nursing division. She has been named one of the 10 outstanding women in nursing and recognized by United States Eldercare, Inc. She joined Regents Point in 1995. Under her leadership, Windcrest has been listed in the top 10 percent of California homes by Consumer Reports Nursing Home Quality Monitor. Grace previously spent a number of years in acute hospitals, mostly in intensive care and coronary care units. - Ashley Diaz, Assistant Administrator
Joining the Regents Point team in 1994, Ashley oversees nursing operations for the Sunridge assisted living division of Regents Point. She has worked in acute hospital and geriatric care since 1984 and is certified as a RCFE administrator.
- Pat Burgoyne, Director of Social Services
Pat is a licensed clinical social worker who provides support and short-term counseling to residents at Regents Point and their families. She serves as the liaison to the University of California-Irvine School of Medicine and coordinates educational and social programs that build relationships between residents and medical students. She joined Regents Point in 2002.
- Dan Townsend, Director of Environmental Services
A certified RCFE administrator, Dan has been with Regents Point since 2006. He directs and ensures quality service in several key departments, including maintenance, construction, transportation, landscaping and housekeeping.
- Jeannette Baker, Director of Sales and Marketing
With more than 20 years of dedication to Regents Point and its residents, Jeannette can truly understand and fully address the concerns and questions that couples or individuals may have about making a lifestyle change. Jeannette is married with four grown sons and, to date, four grandchildren.
- Jo Anne Dobbs, Activities Director
Jo Anne has been a part of the Regents Point staff since 1988, and, since 2001, she has also been a resident. With more than 35 years of experience in the travel industry, she continues to bring a sense of adventure and enthusiasm to her job. Jo Anne is happy to keep a full schedule of events and trips on deck for her friends and neighbors at Regents Point.
- Susan Swazey, Fitness Director
Since 2005, Susan has been inspiring the residents of Regents Point with her commitment to fitness for all ability levels. Susan has dedicated more than 15 years to mastering fitness techniques and movement therapies and sharing them with others. Her training includes multiple certifications, such as American Council of Exercise personal trainer, Aquatics Exercise Association water instructor and Silver Sneakers® teacher. - Tom Shalvoy, Director of Dining Services
Tom brings over 20 years of food service experience specializing in healthy menus. At Regents Point, he helps ensure a full array of nutritious and delicious dining options are available to every resident. He has a Bachelors Degree in Restaurant Management from Michigan State and is married with one daughter.
- The Rev. Barbara Buck, Chaplain
Barbara serves as the ecumenical, interfaith chaplain at Regent’s Point. She is ordained and licensed with the Presbyterian Church (USA) under the authority of the Presbytery of Los Ranchos in Southern California. Barbara has a Master of Divinity degree from Fuller Theological Seminary, a non-denominational graduate school in Pasadena.
